We have the first photo of the 2013 Range Rover ahead of an official reveal and debut at the Paris Motor Show in September. UPDATE: It seems there are copyright issues with the photo we have of the 2013 Range Rover (the photo was not leaked by Land Rover as some may have suspected) so Land Rover has requested we take it down. With Smart's U.S. sales continuing to drop dramatically, Daimler AG is launching a pilot program in Austin, Texas, for short-term rental of the micro car. The program, called car2go, would allow registered users to pick up an available Smart, use it for as long as needed, and return it to designated locations in the city.
Sangyup Lee, designer of the acclaimed Chevrolet Camaro, has recently resigned from General Motors to accept a position as Chief Designer of Exterior at the Volkswagen/Audi Advanced studio in California. Lee is scheduled to begin work mid-January 2010, reporting to Jens Manske who was appointed Executive Director earlier this year. His role is to inspire a newly merged Volkswagen and Audi design staff in the Santa Monica studio.
